Terms of use
These terms of use govern the use of the Chestni Ceni platform by customers who rate purchases and by visitors who read the indexes. The terms for companies are a separate document.
1. What the platform is
Chestni Ceni collects ratings of real purchases and publishes a Fair Price Index for each venue. The index measures customers' perception of value for money. It is not an assessment of the legality, reasonableness or morality of prices and cannot be used as such.
2. Who can rate
- Any adult customer with a receipt from a venue on the platform, within 72 hours of the purchase.
- One fiscal receipt allows one rating. A person can rate the same venue at most once every 30 days.
- Employees and owners do not rate their own venue.
3. Honest rating
A rating reflects a personal impression of a specific purchase. Rating in exchange for a reward, to order, with someone else's receipt, or in order to harm or benefit a venue is prohibited. Such ratings are removed, and the profile may be suspended.
4. Rater profile
The profile is pseudonymous and is created with the first receipt on the device. Points and levels reflect participation, not the content of the rating. Points are not money and cannot be exchanged with venues on the platform. When you sign in with email, Google or Facebook, the rater is linked to the user profile so that you can see your history.
5. Publication
We publish only summaries by venue and by company. Individual ratings are not shown to anyone, including the company. Reports from customers are not published.
6. Liability
The platform is provided “as is” during the pilot. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the index. Companies are responsible for their own prices and practices.
7. Changes
These terms may be changed by notice on this page, stating the date of the change. The methodology changes only through a new version published in the Trust Center.
8. Applicable law
Bulgarian law, including the Consumer Protection Act (Art. 68e on reviews from real buyers) and the rules on personal data protection.
